The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for assisting with the management and execution of campaigns in Page One Web Solution’s marketing automation platform(s), specifically HubSpot, as well as ensuring that the marketing automation campaigns becomes a source of competitive advantage. The Marketing Automation Specialist is the point person for automated marketing platforms and responsible for executing tactical aspects of email marketing initiatives, CRM set up and integrations, and lead nurture activities.


In this role you will get to do things like:

 

  • Develop a strong understanding of our clients’ specific products, services, audiences/personas, short-term/long-term goals
  • Set up new accounts on marketing automation platforms including things like CRM set up, web form creation/integration, call tracking integration, and building responsive email templates and landing pages
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and analyze the success of marketing campaigns using marketing automation software, specifically HubSpot
  • Manage contact data, email lists, and segmentation
  • Strategize, create, deploy, and analyze email and drip marketing campaigns
  • Build and manage multi-channel, custom automated journeys based on business goals on behalf of our clients
  • Execute A/B and multivariate testing recommendations on emails, landing pages, and forms
  • Effectively communicate marketing automation initiatives, campaigns, and metrics to Account Managers, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Strategize, develop, and optimize landing pages to support campaigns
  • Provide documents on marketing automation processes for internal purposes
  • Continuously and iteratively optimize automation campaigns
  • Actively brainstorm and propose new initiatives and campaigns to support overall client goals
  • Write a variety of marketing materials including newsletter, landing page, and other marketing content as needed
  • Create and manage rich content editorial calendar to attract target personas including content like whitepapers, ebooks, reports, video, webinars, infographics, and other content offers
  • Establish and promote closed-loop analytics with our clients’ sales teams to show ROI on behalf of inbound and outbound marketing activities
  • Conduct client, competitor, and product/service research
  • Create reports that contain a robust description of monthly activities, related performance analysis, and recommendations to continue to improve performance
  • Maintain technical and strategic knowledge of industry best practices, tools, and trends key to marketing automation tactics
  • Analyze data sets and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and performance


We’re looking for someone who has:

 

  • A deep understanding of modern full-funnel, closed-loop, and inbound marketing philosophies
  • An understanding of how alternate marketing channels integrate with inbound marketing efforts and automation campaigns (examples: trade shows/events, print ads, social media, PPC)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools, specifically Hubspot
  • Experience with email marketing and lead nurturing best practices
  • The ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment

It would be nice if you also have:

 

  • Experience working with SalesForce/Pardot, Marketo, Keap/Infusionsoft, Eloqua
  • Previous advertising agency (or similar) experience
  • Experience in A/B split testing, multivariate testing, and workflows
  • General use of WordPress
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • General knowledge of Google Search Console
  • General knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other popular paid advertising platforms
  • General knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • General graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite)


Education Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
